Ginger Masala Chai
A spicy, invigorating chai with a warming ginger twist. Perfect for cold mornings or when you need a pick-me-up.
Ingredients:
2 cups water
2 tsp Vasuki Assam Premium Tea Ginger Blend
1-inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
2-3 cloves
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 crushed cardamom pods
1 cup whole milk or plant-based milk
2 tsp sugar or jaggery
Instructions:
Boil 2 cups of water and add the Vasuki Assam Premium Tea Ginger Blend, grated ginger, cloves, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods.
Simmer the tea on low heat for 5-7 minutes, letting the spices and ginger infuse the water.
Add milk and sugar or jaggery, and simmer for another 2 minutes.
Strain the chai into cups and serve hot.
